NOTD: Shiny Shiny Blues

Never got around to doing my mani yesterday cause I was super busy trying to re-organize my polishes.  I might make a post one day soon about how I organize my stuff, cause I know some people like seeing that

Anyhow, so today I finally got the chance to do my nails and I chose some polishes from KleanColor to work with this time (and one Cherimoya crackle).

First I started out by painting three nails KleanColor Shining Sea, which is a little hard to work with because it likes to drag when being applied, and is a bit thick.  Then painted the accent nails KleanColor Pearl Silver.  So it started out looking like this:

It wasn't enough though, so I applied Cherimoya 2012 Crackle (from my NY Haul) in Savior.  Here is a shot of how Savior looks crackled on a nail wheel, in case you're curious.  I like it a lot!

Then to finish it off, I decided to layer on two coats of KleanColor Chunky Holo Bluebell and Seche Vite.  Here are  a few shots of the end result:

You can see the holo here a bit

Shiny sparkly goodness :)

All in all I am about 95% happy with how this looks.  The accent fingers don't stick out as much as I'd have liked, but I think the colors and the holographic look really pretty, so I'll probably keep this on for a couple of days.

So what do you think?  Yay or nay?

  3. I love the set-up base coat with the silver and blue then the crackle coat of blue was a genius move for this mani. Gorgeous nails and gorgeous mani! That's what I think of this mani! Pretty dazzling nails, love it.
