Happy Valentine's Day!

With all the blogs I read posting cute V-day nails for weeks now, the pressure was on to post at least ONE Valentine's mani before the holiday came and went, so here is my one attempt at Valentine's nails.

Only one of my pics came out good, and this mani gave me a lot of trouble when I was working on it, but the end result isn't too bad, I kinda liked it!

I water marbled the thumb and ring fingers using Sally Hansen Whirlwind White,  Zoya Kiki, and OPI Pink Friday.  Then I sponged the pinkie and middle fingers with Kiki and Pink Friday.  Lastly I stamped the heart design from image plate CH3 (Cheeky set) with KleanColor Metallic Pink.  I then topped off the stamped nail with Revlon "Just Tinted" in Victorian.

This iswas very bright (even much brighter than the pic shows) and fun to wear.

Hope you all have a nice V-Day!

    1. Hi! Thanks so much for your comment! I appreciate it very much! I'm glad you're enjoying the blog!

As for water marbleing, I suggest going to youtube.com and searching for "water marble nail tutorial", I think you will find a lot of help with it there. Also doing the same for "nail polish sponging".

Sponging is pretty easy though, you just paint your base color and then use a makeup sponge (clean one) and put some drops of colors onto like a paper plate or something. Then use the makeup sponge to dab color onto the nail :)
