Zoya Beach Collection for Summer 2012!

Hey guys!  Happy April!  To kick this week off I have the brand new Zoya Beach Collection to share ith you!  This is a super gorgeous cast of colors perfect for spring and summer!

Shelby
First up is Shelby.  She can best be described as a "soft but colorful cherry blossom pink with an opaque cream finish".  This is such a classic color but I love it.  It's yet another pink I can add to my "don't hate it" list.  Formula and opacity were great, just needed 2 easy coats.

Lara
Lara can best be described as a "medium magenta-rose pink with subtle yellow undertone and a soft cream finish".  There are definitely quite a few pinks within this collection, but they are all very nice ones.  I think I like Shelby best of the pinks, but this one is super pretty too.  It kind of reminds me of watermelon.

Reagan
Reagan is best described as "a deep, cool fuchsia pink with subtle blue undertone and an opaque cream finish".  This fuchsia is really rich and bright.  I love the slightly purple lean this color has.  It makes me think of berries.

Arizona
Arizona is up next and I need to say this first: LOVE!  She can best be described as "softened bright citrus orange with a muted cream finish."   This is probably my favorite color of the Beach collection.  There is nothing I don't like about this color. I even love how it looks with my skin tone.  Yum!

Tracie
Tracie...Why are you a frost?  I would LOVE this shade if it were a creme.  I don't know why there is a frost shimmer in the Beach collection...but alas... She can best be described as "faded, yellow-toned pistachio green with delicate silvery shimmer for a frosted pearl finish."  I think the color itself is just so nice.  I can't say the same about the finish.  It definitely doesn't work for my skin tone, and I just think overall it doesn't add anything good to the polish.  Well I guess they can't all be winners, right?

Wednesday
Last up, my second favorite:  Wednesday.  She is best described as " faded dirty medium turquoise with green undertone and an opaque cream finish."  This is such a pretty turquoise/green.  It is the perfect beachy color in my opinion.  Total winner!

So there you have it, the Zoya Beach Collection for Summer 2012.  I think the collection is great overall.  With only one I don't really like much, but maybe I can find a way to make her work, maybe stamp over or something, we shall see!

Tomorrow I will be bringing you the Surf Collection, which is super amazing too!

What do you think of this collection?  Which color is your favorite?

  2. I really think that Beach and Surf are the best collections I have seen from Zoya in a while. There isn't a color I don't like.
