Indie Spotlight: Sparkles by Julie

Hi guys!  I am excited to announce that over the next few months I will be bringing to you swatches and reviews of polishes by several different Indie sellers who are up and coming, and some who are already quite established but have amazing polishes to offer that I'd like to share.

Today's feature seller is Sparkles by Julie!

Blacktastic

Blacktastic
First up is a gorgeous holographic polish called "Blacktastic".  I think the pictures speak for themselves, honestly!  This is a deep charcoal polish with tons of holo!  These pictures are indoors, so you can only imagine how they would shine in the sun!  I wanted to get some sun pics but the sun was hiding too many days in a row!  The application was perfect, just needed two coats, no special base coats or buffing needed either.

Dots n Stripes
Dots n Stripes
I layered Dots N Stripes over Blacktastic, Grey, and Red polishes.  It is a mix of Hex, Bar, and square glitter in black and white in a clear base.  I love these "connect the dots" style polishes and can't get enough of them! This one did not disappoint and application was simple, the formula was easy to work with, and the end result looks great!

Moondust

Moondust
Moondust is part of the Galaxy Collection and is a grey-silver polish that dries matte.  It is even more stunning in person than it already looks in the pictures!  I used two coats of this though I think one medium-thick coat would have also been sufficient.

Milky Way

Milky Way
I layered Milky Way over Moondust, Black and White for the above pictures.  This polish is also part of the Galaxy Collection.  This is a super unique glitter topcoat!  There are all sorts of "glitter in different colors, shapes and sizes; from tiny holographic, to duochrome solar flares, to rainbow flakes that are submerged in a clear base" (as taken from the store's description).  I love how different this polish looks over the different colors.  I can't wait to try this out on other colors as well!

Lost in Space

Lost in Space
The final polish I am bringing you today is called Lost in Space and is also part of the Galaxy Collection.  This is a stand alone polish rather than a glitter topcoat.  It is "packed with glitter in different colors, shapes and sizes; from tiny holographic, middlesized blue, to big holographic flakes that are submerged in a deep black base".  I love the look of this!  I also love that it is wearable alone without layering over another color.  Of course if you layer it over black you can make this bottle last longer, but it's not necessary to do so.  Like all the other polishes I've mentioned already, the formula on this one is perfect and easy to work with.  Another winner!

All in all I was very impressed with the polishes I tried from Sparkles by Julie and I think they are definitely worth purchasing!

Sparkles by Julie polishes are 3-free, and prices are as follows:

$4.00 per mini (5mL)
$8.00 full size regular polish (15mL)
$10.00 full size holographic polish (15mL)
