Nicka K New York Nail Color "Studio Line"! (Part 1)

Hey guys!  I have some gorgeous new polishes to share with you today!  I have eight new colors from Nicka K New York to show you, which I will be breaking up into 2 posts...followed by a very special post!  HINT:  You might want to prepare for the third post by clicking here to LIKE Nicka K New York on facebook! ;)

These polishes are part of a brand new line being released, "Studio Line", under the Nicka K New York Nail Color brand.  There are 44 polishes in all (42 shades, 1 ultra shine, ultra dry top coat and 1 calcium gel treatment), they will retail for $4.99 at http://www.nickashop.com/ .  They are also Big-3-free!

Apricot
First up, Apricot.  This is a great spring apricot cream shade.  The application was simple, 2 coats.  It wasn't streaky at all, and dries with a nice shine.

Lavender
Lavender is another lovely cream shade.  Formula is great and it only required 2 coats for opacity.  I am a sucker for pretty purples, and this one is really great.

Gold Shimmer
Gold Shimmer is a golden foil polish that was perfect in 1-coat.  I don't usually love gold polishes at all, and I was a little skeptical about how this would look on me.  While I don't love it on my skin tone, I think this is one of the better gold foils I have tried for my tone.  I like the light golden hue of it, really pretty.

Velvet Green
Velvet Green is a frosty metallic green shimmer.  It pretty much glows on the nail!  I don't usually prefer frosty polishes, but I might be able to make an exception for this one!   I love this color with my tone, and the formula, like the others so far, was great!   Two coats for the pictured opacity.

Overall I am very happy so far with these new offerings from Nicka K New York.  I'll be bringing you four more colors from this line later in the week, so stay tuned!

What do you think of these polishes?    Have you liked Nicka K on facebook yet?
