Stamping!

I have been waiting a long time to try out Konad Stamping and finally got to try it out this past weekend for the first time!  I was super excited when the stamping tools I needed arrived in the mail!

I knew there'd be a learning curve involved so I wasn't expecting perfect results for my first try.  All in all I was very happy with how my first attempt worked out!  I am sure I will improve over time though.

Here are the two best pics I was able to get:

It's pretty good but you can see some messed up details if you look closely

outside in the sun
The base color used is from Color Club's Wicked Sweet Collection...it's Yum Gum.   The polish I used or stamping was The One That Got Away from OPI's Katy Perry Collection.  I found it worked very well as a stamping polish.  The plate I used for the image was Konad Plate m64.

Here are some swatches of Yum Gum all on its own.

It's a really pretty creamy bubble gum pink.  These pictures are 3 coats of Yum Gum.  It really did smell like bubble gum for several hours too!  I really enjoy this color a lot, considering I am not a huge pink wearer!

Stamping was super fun and I can't wait to try again really soon, with hopefully even better results!

Do you have any favorite image plates that you use?
