Also snagged a brand new bottle of China Glaze DV8 from the OMG collection at a nail salon in Walmart!!! Only $8! I couldn't believe my luck spotting that there!
Anyhow, today I have for you the mani did for this weekend (which might wind up changing before the weekend is out).
I started out by painting my nails For Audrey by China Glaze. I know most of you have seen this polish swatched before but for those who haven't here it is before I added anything more to the mani:
This is such a pretty color on its own isn't it??
But since I recently received a few Kaleidoscope Collection polishes from the blog sale at Pretty N Polish I really wanted to use one to add something to this mani.
Here is the final outcome (several pics cause I couldn't decide which one I liked the most!)
I layered China Glaze He's Going In Circles onto my accent nails (3 coats) and sponged it onto the other nails.
check out that holographic goodness <3 |
All in all I really love the way this came out! It's simple yet fun and has a bit of flash to it. The only reason I might change it before the weekend is out is to try out some of the other new colors I got, plus I did get a teenie tiny chip on the index finger of my right hand...which most people probably can't see but is driving me nuts! LOL
Hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend!
Cute! I love the combo of sponging and the accent nail.
ReplyDeleteLove this amazing mani, your nails are so beautiful, long and gorgeous. Love how you used the ring finger and thumb to accent the sponging technique, really cool looking! Love your web blog and the way you have it set-up. Amamzing!
