I am really excited to share this mani with you guys today! I have seen lots of people doing "jelly sandwich" manis a lot lately. It's becoming quite trendy and popular. I decided to give it another go because the last time I tried one I wasn't very happy with the results. This time I am thrilled with the result!
LOTS of pics because I loved the mani so much! :)
I really did not expect to love this as much as I do! What you are looking at is two Essie Marshmallow with Girly Bits Hippity Hop in between them. Then I topped the whole thing off with a layer of Out the Door Northern Lights top coat.
I loved the way this particular glitter worked in the mani because I felt it wasn't too overpowering or chunky looking. It have a more speckled, delicate look. It wore like iron for almost a week, which is a good thing because I didn't want to take it off!
What do you think of the Jelly sandwich trend? What about sheer jelly polishes in general?
Love it!!! It's like a fun-fettie cake!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this combo!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I'm loving the jelly sandwich trend!
ReplyDeleteLove jelly polishes - I've been on the lookout for more of them. Anybody know of any black jellies?
ReplyDeleteLeah ann from LLarowe just tweeted your blog, and I'm really glad she did. I now have a great new blog to follow. This mani is so great. I also just wore Hippity Hop for the first time ever and its so stunning. I wish I thought to do a jelly sandwich... add it to the list of things to try :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely loving the jelly sandwich trend, and love jelly polishes in general. I usually keep my nails very short, so VNL isn't an issue with jellies for me. I love their squishiness!
ReplyDeleteThis looks lovely, I love jelly sandwiches. I love the blue's in yours, it's different then the typical jelly sandwiches everyone does.
ReplyDeleteI've never done a jelly sandwich, but they always look so cute...your included :D
ReplyDeleteIt's very pretty!
